Classical Music Festival from March 5

A three-day Indian classical music and folk dance festival will be organised from March 5 to mark the 98th birth anniversary of late Gangubai Hangal. The festival, to be organised by Dr Gangubai Hangal Music Foundation and Hubli Art Circle, would be held at the house where she was born and which is now converted into a museum at Shukrawarpeth, Dharwad, Baburao Hangal son of the late singer, said. 

Prabhakar Kore, Rajya Sabha member, will inaugurate the festival in which about 50,000 music lovers from all over the state are expected to participate.
